Re-Versed Writer's Block

April 08, 2017

Starting in April we will begin a weekly series, Writer's Block, to connect writers to each other, and provide a platform to learn more about writing opportunities in Wichita.

4 weeks each month, will feature a different event format.

Week One: Potluck

Week Two: Open Mic

Week Three: Meet Up

Week Four: Storytelling Night

**Potluck**

Come and enjoy an evening of food and drinks, and get to know fellow writers in Wichita. If you know of any writing or poetry related events in Wichita, please bring or send information that can be shared with everyone.

Check the event each month to learn more about the food theme and what others may be bringing to the event.

**Open Mic**

Open Mics will vary from Month to Month, some may be open to all creative styles including music, while others may feature a particular writing style, such as Poetry.

**Meet Up**

Discuss and work on individual projects with other writers, get involved with local writing projects, and find inspiration through provided "challenges" or writing prompts that help stimulate ideas for writing.

**Storytelling Night**

Whether you enjoy reading stories or writing stories, this event is for you. Some months might have a theme, but the majority of nights will be open to a variety of stories, characters, plots and more! There will be a time limit, if a story is longer than the designated time, be sure to come back the next month to share or hear the rest of the story.
